(Note: Legacy Manager Pro at $24.98/month for up to 50 active people remains supported for existing subscriptions with that plan ID, while new upgrades use Manager or Teams.)
How the 30-day Manager trial works
Section titled “How the 30-day Manager trial works”- Every new account can start a 30-day Manager trial with no credit card required.
- During the 30-day trial, you get full Manager plan capabilities (up to 25 active people, Word and PDF exports, and full AI drafts).
- What happens if a trial expires: If your 30-day trial ends without upgrading (
trial_ends_athas passed), Docu-Coach™ never deletes your history. All of your existing notes, audio recordings, and employee timelines remain readable, while adding new people and saving new notes are paused until you subscribe or return within the Free plan’s 2-active-person limit.
How active employee limits work
Section titled “How active employee limits work”- Only active employees (
archived_at IS NULL) count toward your plan’s active people limit (2 on Free, 25 on Manager, 250 on Teams). - Freeing up capacity without losing history: When an employee leaves your team, click Archive on their row in My People (
/admin/employees). Archiving preserves their entire coaching timeline while immediately freeing up an active employee slot. - Capturing on the floor when at your limit: If you are on the Free plan and your active roster is above 2 people, assigning a new capture to a specific employee returns a plan-limit notice—but you can always choose Save as Unassigned so your voice recording or typed note is saved safely.
How extra manager seats work
Section titled “How extra manager seats work”- On the Manager plan ($9.98/month): 1 manager seat is included. You can add additional managers (for example, an assistant manager or shift lead who oversees the same people) for $4.98/month each (up to 10 extra seats).
- On the Teams plan ($250/month): 10 manager seats are included. Each additional manager beyond the 10 included is $5/month (up to 40 extra seats).
- Add-on seats are billed via Paddle and managed from
/billingand Team & Permissions (/admin/team).
